Anti Radiation Door
When the human body is exposed to anti radiation door and radiation rays it alters everyday bodily functions. These rays cause harm to almost every part of our body including hair brain, thyroid, blood system, heart, reproductive tract and many more. In hospitals, there are rooms like radiotherapy rooms and x-ray rooms that emit radiation rays, in order to protect both hospital employees and patients from unnecessary harmful rays of radiation proof sliding.
The doors are designed with lead shielding. The door has been specially developed for operation theatres with X-ray equipment and Cath Labs as well as rooms with radiation shielding requirements. It can also withstand up to 75 Pa over pressure to such a degree that any leakage loss will still not be measurable due to the hermetic seal. 60 mm thick door core consists of 4 mm thick high pressure on laminate both sides, 2 mm thick lead lining and 50 mm thick high pressure injected polyurethane. these doors are designed with shielding inside to protect hospital stalls and patients from unnecessary exposure to harmful X-Rays outside and nearby areas of a room like X-Rays, Cath Lab, Radiology etc.
Besides The EPDM sealing gasket, a special lower sealing gasket with a lip is fitted on the bottom profile of the door leaf to ensure 100 % hermetic sealing. A lever opener is there for effortless opening, made from solid stainless steel.
