The sliding door with hermetically sealed design is especially intended for use in locations where air leakage control and hygiene are vital. Because of their special, patented track system, Dormed hermetic doors can close perfectly, lowering the need for air handling as well as the risk of cross-contamination and wound infections. Results of independent testing on air leakage up to 400 Pa of pressure are available.
